The outsole pattern is structured to increase traction while making it easier to pivot. This helps you move side-to-side and switch directions more easily. Meanwhile, the forefoot’s flex grooves are designed to promote smoother transitions.

Cleaning
Surface dirt such as mud and grit can be cleaned off with a bristle brush or toothbrush with a little warm water and a gentle/mild, anti-grease soap.
Doing this once in a while is fine.
Washing
Do not wash in washing machine. Remove the sock-liners/insoles and hand-wash to make the insides fresher. Laces can be washed or replaced if necessary.
Drying
Dry & air out normally as any direct heat will alter the shape of the shoe.
Release the laces & stuff the shoes with newspaper to absorb the dampness within. When playing on a Water Based pitch, drying time might be longer and may take up to 2 days to thoroughly dry.
